I’m up here next to the Dollar General until I sell out! Come on down!

Planning On Produce Stand Tomorrow!

I’m planning to set up the produce stand tomorrow. I will have;

Cantaloupe

Cabbage

Tomatoes

Purple hull peas

Yellow squash

Zucchini

Mississippi Brown Crowder peas

Eggs

Peppers

Okra

Coming soon: Butter beans, new potatoes, greens and onions!

This is the project I’m working on in the house while my honey heals up. Turning over grown okra into soup thickener. I’m dehydrating it as I go and will be grinding it into a powder afterwards. You can buy okra powder as a gumbo seasoning in stores.

Okra has long been favored as a food for the health-conscious. It contains:

potassium
vitamin B
vitamin C
folic acid
calcium
It’s low in calories and has a high dietary fiber content. The immature seeds of the okra pod are suggested to help manage blood sugar in cases of type 1, type 2, and gestational diabetes.

My honey had a heart attack last week and open heart surgery today. His triple bypass went well. Now to begin recovery! Thank you all for the prayers, positive thoughts and kindness. It is much appreciated, we can feel the love!

I’m next to the Dollar General in New Town area on HWY 4 East, 1.5 miles from Senatobia until 6pm today. See page map for location details. I have everything I had yesterday, PLUS BUTTER BEANS! Very limited quantity of butter beans. Get em while you can. Come see me!

I’m next to the DG on HWY 4 East until 6pm.

I have:

Green beans, plums, peaches, eggs, pepper jelly, purple hull peas, onion, cabbage, cantaloupe, bell pepper, cucumber, squash, pickles, okra, tomatoes, peach preserves, real honey, hot peppers, zucchini, green tomatoes, crowder peas and cowboy candy!

Available Tuesday-Friday 10am until 6pm
And Saturday 10am until 3pm – WEATHER PERMITTING! NO SUNDAY OR MONDAY SALES.
