Purple Hull Peas Time

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!
It’s purple hull pea time!!
We been shelling them fresh today and I’ll be selling them ALREADY SHELLED AND BAGGED INTO 1# increments for $7 each in the store Friday and Saturday 10am until 3pm!

They are not available unshelled, in any amount at this time. They are already shelled, weighed and bagged up for you. Every bag of purple hull peas will weigh one pound. Whatever does NOT sell by end of Saturday I will have to pack up into freezer bags so they don’t spoil. If you want to get them fresh, you must come in tomorrow or Saturday 10am until 3pm.

Yes you can prepay to reserve yours. First come, first served otherwise. Text me directly to my phone or message me on FACEBOOK. I accept cash, debit, credit and PayPal forms of payment.

Precious Herbs


I planted about a dozen different types of herbs out front of my store recently. They are so pretty with some flowers blooming as well. The herbs are growing well and this mystery curcurbit variety somehow planted itself right here. No telling what it is yet… could be wild melons, cucumbers or cantaloupe… we shall see! Nature always finds a way .
Now for those who love herbs, let’s put together a group class where we can discuss and get some common household culinary varieties started for our home kitchens and back yard gardens. I would be thrilled to have a small group here to help and work together. I have seeds and make my own potting soil from our cow doo doo and compost so you just need to bring yourself plus a notepad to write stuff down.

Whomever needed my herbs out of this planter more then I did, I hope you gave that lovely plant a good home and it’s flourishing.

I’ve got amazing vine picked maters, eggs and goat milk in the store for pick up today. BEEF available for order and pick up. Whole grain wheat and triticale for order. Employees are picking today too so I should have more produce tomorrow in store. We have buckets of animal feed stocked back up. I’m placing an order from Pepsi/coke/lays today- they keep delaying delivery but hopefully they’ll deliver soon to restock my coolers and shelves.
