Sweet Corn Update
The Sweet G90 is ready to pick tomorrow. They are small ears because of all this extreme heat but they are juicy and sweet tasting. You won’t be disappointed in the flavor! Watch my page for when and where to get it!
We worked from 8am tilling and planting all new produce patches. It’s almost 7pm and we still aren’t done. We are getting the tractor ready to work up yet another spot before we call it a night.
We planted Mississippi Brown Crowders, Purple Hull Peas, Zipper Cream Peas, Yellow Popcorn, Cucumbers, Okra and bodacious NON-GMO Sweet Corn today!

Hey everybody! I will be at the new Dollar Genearl on HWY 4 today. This location is only 1.5 miles from the Senatobia Farmer’s Market. Just head East on 4! You can’t miss the new Dollar Genearl. We are mowing the grass right now so we can set up the tent. I’ll post again with pictures once I’m set up!
Weeding The Purple Hull Peas & Okra
Been weeding the purple hull peas and okra patches today. Check out the before and after pictures from both patches! Should have both of these finished today. Next to mow walk paths and mulch centers of peas. Then it’s time to pick okra. Are y’all Ready for some okra?!
Our Last Sweet Corn Field To Harvest In July
Checking on our last sweet corn field to harvest in July. It’s not ready yet but with this humid hot weather it could happen real quick. I’ll be checking on it again Saturday.

Did Y’all Miss Me?
Did y’all miss me today? I woke up not feeling well so I slept in and got rehydrted. After I got to feeling better we loaded up the produce tractor and the new 2-row produce planter. We got a new patch of sweet corn planted. It’s called: Kandy Korn and will be grown organic.
Also put in the next patch of okra and pruple hull peas. Picked a bunch of tomatoes, field corn, squash and jalapenos for market tomorrow.
The silver crowder peas are coming along nicely. Just thought I’d update everyone how things are going and why I wasn’t at the market today. I’m goig to try to be there tormorrow morning by 7am and then I’ll move upto the Market on main at 4pm. See y’all tomorrow!
I’m At The Market
I have lots of field corn.
My tomatoes are finally starting to get big.
Some baby yellow squash.
A few bags of purple hull peas.
Peach preserves.
Hot and bell peppers.
Blueberries.
I picked over my sweet corn field one last time. They are smaller ears but super tasty. Come get em while they last!
Field Corn Is Ready
I’ll have it at the market Tuesday through Saturday or until the field is done. I’m usually there by 7am each morning. You know the field corn only stays soft for 3-4 days so you need to come get yours ASAP!!! I also will have blueberries, tomatoes, peppers, yellow squash. Come see me!
