Needed: Supplies! Can you help?

I need your help folks. I know this is the perfect group to ask because y’all care so much about each other. Could y’all please save me your grocery store shopping bags like from Walmart, Dollar General and Kroger’s? I’d rather recycle those than buy new ones.

Also I need extra large feed bags; like these 55 pound dog food bags I have. I need these to pick my corn and peas out of the field.

If you have any canning jars you no longer want and 1 dozen size, styrofoam egg cartons I’ll take those too please. Thank you so much! See you soon!

Squash, Silver Crowder Peas & Hand-planting/weeding!

Yellow squash producing flowers and silver crowder peas starting to grow good plants. We are HAND planting, HAND weeding, HAND fertilizing and HAND mulching all these plants. We work 7 days per week to grow produce and take care of the animals. We sure hope you will support our hard and long labor when the produce comes in! Thank you so much Tate County 🙂

Planting Progress Report!

We have 300 tomato plants in the ground, peppers, green beans, potatoes, onions, purple hull peas, yellow squash, okra and silver crowder peas planted. I have sweet potato slips going too.

Our third patch of sweet corn is going in the ground soon along with peanuts, pumpkins, zucchini, cantaloupe, butternut squash and eggplant. Weeeeeee garden planting is so fun!

Our corn varieties will be quite diverse this year if they all produce. We are planting conventionally grown Sweet G-90 hybrid, heirloom peaches and cream, heirloom truckers favorite yellow, Kandy Korn hybrid, Bodacious hybrid and heirloom silver queen.

Our field corn will be a traditional yellow hybrid, heirloom Hickory King or an heirloom Reid’s dent variety.

I’m even planting mung beans, a big field of sunflowers, butter beans and So much more…
stay tuned for fun pictures of all the progress!
