At the Market

I’m at the market y’all! I’ve got green and red tomatoes, field corn, squash, peppers and more!

Did y’all miss me today? I woke up not feeling well so I slept in and got rehydrted. After I got to feeling better we loaded up the produce tractor and the new 2-row produce planter. We got a new patch of sweet corn planted. It’s called: Kandy Korn and will be grown organic.

Also put in the next patch of okra and pruple hull peas. Picked a bunch of tomatoes, field corn, squash and jalapenos for market tomorrow.

The silver crowder peas are coming along nicely. Just thought I’d update everyone how things are going and why I wasn’t at the market today. I’m goig to try to be there tormorrow morning by 7am and then I’ll move upto the Market on main at 4pm. See y’all tomorrow!

I’m At The Market

I have lots of field corn.

My tomatoes are finally starting to get big.

Some baby yellow squash.

A few bags of purple hull peas.

Peach preserves.

Hot and bell peppers.

Blueberries.

I picked over my sweet corn field one last time. They are smaller ears but super tasty. Come get em while they last!

Field Corn Is Ready

I’ll have it at the market Tuesday through Saturday or until the field is done. I’m usually there by 7am each morning. You know the field corn only stays soft for 3-4 days so you need to come get yours ASAP!!! I also will have blueberries, tomatoes, peppers, yellow squash. Come see me!

Last Day: Sweet Corn

Todays’ the last day for Sweet Corn. Come and get it!

At the Senatobia Farmer’s Market

I’m at the Senatobia Farmer’s Market bright and early, today. They say the early bird gets the worm. I still have sweet corn but it won’t last long. This field is about picked over and there will be a wait until the next one is ready. So come today and come early if you want it! I have preserves, pickles and baby yellow squash too. See you soon.

Needed: Supplies! Can you help?

I need your help folks. I know this is the perfect group to ask because y’all care so much about each other. Could y’all please save me your grocery store shopping bags like from Walmart, Dollar General and Kroger’s? I’d rather recycle those than buy new ones.

Also I need extra large feed bags; like these 55 pound dog food bags I have. I need these to pick my corn and peas out of the field.

If you have any canning jars you no longer want and 1 dozen size, styrofoam egg cartons I’ll take those too please. Thank you so much! See you soon!
